Authentically inspired using bold patterns and colors, the brand is rooted in Mia's own background as an architect with international influences and upbringing. As a founder and creative director, she is committed to creating timeless wardrobes addressing the modern, international woman, leading the way for an inspired and elegant lifestyle. With a unique approach to sustainable luxury, MIA PAPA’s collections are anchored in local handcrafted production, using responsibly sourced, luxury materials and couture techniques. “Your journey to sustainable luxury fashion starts here. Mia Papaefthimiou is a luxury womenswear designer and is widely recognized as one of the most talented emerging designers of her generation. Born in 1988, Mia was raised in Athens, studied in England, worked and lived across Europe as certified architect and art director and she is currently based in Vienna. Her multicultural upbringing, yet being deeply rooted in the rich history of her home land, Greece, together with her passion in different forms of culture–ranging from architecture to art to craft–are key influences throughout her work. Since the launch of MIA PAPA in 2019, Mia has received numerous accolades for her work, from inclusion in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 - Greece to the European Enterprise Awards for Best Emerging Fashion Brand 2020 and the Enviro-Excellence Award for Sustainable Products and has been featured in various prominent publications such as British Vogue, Tatler, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, among others.
