MIA PAPA X ELPIDA ASSOCIATION
HYGEIA Lucky Charm 2021 Limited Edition silk ribbons, are inspired by Hygeia, the Goddess of health and the daughter of the God of medicine, Asclepius.
In the past year, our collective health - Hygeia - has been our foremost priority. We find ourselves caring for the wellbeing of our families and being grateful for the people around us.
By recently becoming a mother, made me even more sensitive towards children in need. That’s why our lucky charm for 2021 is dedicated to them, by supporting the important cause of the Elpida Association of Friends of Children With Cancer.
40% of the purchase price will be donated to Elpida Association.
I wish you all for the New Year, health, love & prosperity for you and your families!

ELPIDA Association of Friends of Children with Cancer
The “ELPIDA Association of Friends of Children with Cancer” was founded in 1990 by a group of motivated women, with Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis as its President, aiming to provide support, through any means possible, to children suffering from cancer and to the families of those children.
The ELPIDA Association's main projects during the 30 years of its action include the following:
- Τhe Bone Marrow Transplant Unit for children
- A five-storey Guest House
- Our country’s first Oncology Hospital for children.
- The establishment and operation of a Volunteer Bone Marrow Donor Bank
- Twinning and collaborations with the world’s largest oncology centres - A multi-faceted social service.
The “ELPIDA” Association, from the time of its establishment, has struggled to improve childhood cancer statistics in our country and shall continue to do so by constantly setting and attaining new goals dictated by new needs in the field of childhood cancer.
